    The two Swim & Fitness Clubs offer sparkling pools, fitness rooms with state-of-the-art exercise equipment as well as poolside barbecue areas and indoor-outdoor gathering spaces for celebrations of every kind. The first Club, now open in the TownView residential village of Candelas, is a LEED-certified, solar- and geothermal-powered facility

  • Three Creeks K-8 School

    Opening Fall 2017, Three Creeks K-8 school will offer a quality education for some of the youngest residents of Candelas, and it’s just a walk, bike ride or short car trip away. Jefferson County is planning to build a school, which produces students that continue to outperform the state in all grade levels and content areas on CSAP tests.

    Candelas offers 193 acres of on-site open space, and it’s all surrounded by 11,500+ acres of protected public lands that await your discovery. There’s also a National Wildlife Refuge next door, a protected natural habitat that’s home to deer, elk, owls, white pelicans and more than 300 other species. Just beyond are the many open space lands of the Front Range and the Rockies.

  • Trails

    A total of 13.5 miles of recreational trails meander all throughout Candelas, ideal for taking a walk, jog, bike or horseback ride. Explore within Candelas, or enjoy direct access to open space lands and trails at the gateway of the Rockies. The trails lead to White Ranch Park, and beyond to Rocky Mountain National Park, a wilderness area with at least 60 mountains exceeding 12,000 feet.

  • FUTURE COMMERCIAL

    A new King Soopers neighborhood retail center is under construction and planned to open in 2018. The proposed Candelas Town Center will offer a vibrant mix of shopping, dining and entertainment. With comfortable gathering spaces, it just might become Arvada’s newest social epicenter. The Candelas masterplan is also envisioned to include 7.1 million square feet of commercial space, with the potential to create jobs and generate significant sales tax revenue.
